Contact Hope Hospice

As your local not-for-profit hospice, we’ve served Lee, Hendry, and Glades counties for over 40 years. We’re here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What is Hospice?

Hospice is a special type of care offering comfort during life’s final chapter. We provide compassionate care when a cure is no longer possible, helping with pain and symptom management. Our caring team provides practical, spiritual, and emotional support for your entire family.

Caregiver Support

Friends, family, and loved ones are always included in our holistic care. Hope’s professional counselors and support staff are ready to guide you through the caregiving journey.

When is it Time for Hospice?

Every person is different, but these signs often indicate that it’s time for hospice care:

  • Frequent hospital visits or trips to the ER
  • Weakness, frailty, or extreme fatigue
  • Lack of appetite and weight loss
  • Loss of pleasure or interest in activities

Your doctor may suggest hospice if he or she thinks that you probably have six months or less to live. However, anyone can make a referral for hospice care. Even if you aren’t sure if you’re ready for hospice care, we may be able to connect you to other helpful programs.
