Three Criteria for Medicare Eligibility for Hospice Care

Your doctor and the hospice medical director use their best clinical judgment to certify that your life expectancy is six months or less, if your disease runs its normal course.
You choose to receive comforting hospice care instead of curative care.
You enroll in a Medicare-approved hospice program, like ours.

Depending on the course of your illness, you might need more intensive or less intensive care. Fortunately, the Medicare Hospice Benefit has four levels of care to meet your needs.

Most hospice care is Routine Home Care. As with all hospice services, your team will help determine which level of care is right for you and your family.
